Can I share my copy of the CMMI Development V2.0 or DMM model?

Each individual needs to purchase his or her own licensed copy of the CMMI Development V2.0 or DMM model.

The models are not permitted to be shared as they are licensed on an individual basis. Here are the details from the End User License Agreement:

“Your copy of the [model] is licensed solely to you, and no ownership rights transfer to you when you download a copy of the model. When you purchase a license to digital download of the model, the PDF will be stamped with your name, denoting you as the sole licensee of the document. You may not remove or obscure your name, any copyright notices or other identifying information from the PDF.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, assign, transfer, or exploit any portion of the model, use of the model, or access to the model or the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by the CMMI Institute. The model is provided “as is, where is,” without warranties of any kind, and CMMI Institute hereby disclaims all express and implied warranties, including but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title or non-infringement. You are solely responsible for your use of the model, and agree to defend, indemnify and hold CMMI Institute harmless from any claims, liability, damages, costs, or expenses incurred by CMMI Institute arising from your use of the model.”
