Introduction and Basic Information about the CMMI V2.0 Enterprise License

CMMI Institute recently launched CMMI V2.0. The launch came with several updates to the CMMI model, as well as a new website and a new web-application for viewing the model. We have also begun selling our model, instead of giving it away for free. There are several options for purchasing the CMMI V2.0 Model and model viewer. This section of the Help Center is dedicated to how to purchase the model via Enterprise Licensing.

The Enterprise License offers the ability for an Organization to purchase access to the CMMI V2.0 Model for a specific number of users for a year. All users will have access to CMMI V2.0 model content and updates during the license period. (This includes access to the Full CMMI V2.0 PDF Download and the CMMI V2.0 MDD.) Access for users can be reassigned at any time.

Pricing for the Enterprise License varies depending on the number of users you would like to grant access to. For specific pricing details, please send an email to info@cmmiinstitute.com

We offer the enterprise license in the following sizes:

  • Small Enterprise License: 10, 25, or 50 users
  • Medium Enterprise License: 100, 150, 200 or 250 users
  • Unlimited Enterprise License: Unlimited number of users* (enterprise-wide hosted PDF is included)
    * Anyone who has an email address with the Unlimited Enterprise License holder’s domain name can email info@cmmiinstitute.com to gain access to the model and materials.

Enterprise-wide hosted PDF:

If you have purchased an Enterprise License in any of the above-mentioned sizes, you also have the option of adding an enterprise-wide hosted PDF of CMMI V2.0. This is offered at a nominal fee and can be hosted on an internal site for easy access by anyone in the company.

Please note that the enterprise-wide PDF is licensed to the Organization who has purchased the Enterprise License. It can be downloaded, printed, viewed and given to employees of that organization, but cannot be distributed to anyone outside of the organization.
