The requirements for "minimums" in the MDD may not be sufficient for my appraisals.

The "minimum" requirements specified in the MDD (e.g., "At a minimum," "minimally," etc.) do not restrict an ATL from seeking additional information. You can, and often SHOULD, go beyond the minimum to ensure that the results of your appraisal are as accurate and value-added as you can make them.
