What Training Do I Need to Serve as an Appraisal Team Member (ATM) on a CMMI V2.0 Service Appraisal?

In order for an individual to meet the training prerequisites to serve as a CMMI V2.0 Appraisal Team Member (ATM), it is necessary for the individual to have prior training for the View of the model that is being appraised.  

For an individual to serve as an ATM on a CMMI V2.0 Service appraisal, the individual must have CMMI Service Training.  The individual's training pathway will depend upon their prior training history. 

Here are a few example pathways to serve as an ATM on a CMMI V2.0 Service appraisal:

  1. (2-day) Foundations of Capability + (1-day) Building Service Excellence
  2. (3-day) Introduction to CMMI for Services + CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training (Instructor-led or Elearning)
  3. (3-day) Introduction to CMMI for Development V1.3 + (1-day) Services Supplement + (1-day) CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training (Instructor-led or Elearning)
  4. (3-day) Introduction to CMMI for Development + (1-day) CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training (Instructor-led or Elearning) + (1-day) Building Service Excellence
  5. (3-day) Introduction to CMMI (V1.2 and prior) + (1-day) CMMI V1.3 Upgrade Training + (1-day) Services Supplement + (1-day) CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training (Instructor-led or Elearning)
  6. (3-day) Introduction to CMMI (V1.2 and prior) + (1-day) CMMI V1.3 Upgrade Training + (1-day) CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Training (Instructor-led or Elearning)+ (1-day) Building Service Excellence
